The Broker — What It Is

Tab Trade went live in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

That last detail tells you something. It suggests the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. But preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities prime brokers run on. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys did the opposite. Interesting choice.

Market coverage: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform that is a few months old, that range is not narrow.

What You Trade On

Available: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from one account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you know MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Many people find it more natural after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but requires the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That should round things out when it arrives.

Costs

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your actual cost per trade can be under half a pip. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade does not.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not for most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.

Execution Speed

The speed is the area where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. The average platform quote a much wider range.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That signals what kind of broker this is.

Put together that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get holds up. Few brokers with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.

Regulation

Here is the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Scam brokers do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your decision.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade runs a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical sign-up bonus. You deposit, the broker credit extra capital. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you commit.
